Beyond day-to-day operations, Engineering plays a key role in the airport’s growth—delivering complex projects that support development and expansion, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and operational excellence.

What we do

Our Engineering Department covers a wide range of responsibilities:

Maintenance

Ensures the upkeep and repair of airport facilities, equipment, and plant. This team keeps systems running smoothly to support daily airport operations.

Maintains and enhances the technical systems that support air traffic control, including communication, navigation, and surveillance technologies. Their work is vital to the safe and efficient movement of aircraft.

Manages the operation and maintenance of airfield lighting systems, ensuring visibility and safety for aircraft during landing, take-off, and taxiing—especially in low-visibility conditions.

Oversees the design, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects that improve airport facilities and meet the evolving needs of passengers and operations.

Manages external contractors working on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and operational procedures.
