Our ATC department is responsible for:
Directing the safe and orderly movement of aircraft during take-off, landing, and taxiing to minimise delays and maintain optimal flow.
Monitoring and managing the airport’s airspace to prevent collisions and ensure compliance with aviation regulations.
Providing clear, precise instructions to pilots and collaborating with adjacent air traffic units and airport teams.
Assessing weather conditions and advising pilots of any factors that may affect flight safety or schedules.
Acting as a critical point of communication during emergencies, ensuring rapid coordination with rescue and emergency services.
